Heartfelt Thank You
It is so heartwarming to receive the Thank you’s notes from the families that we help and we do read and share each one at the board meetings. We received a heartfelt thank you in the mail today from a grandparent of a child going through a journey and felt we should share with you.
“Hello – Last year Labor day my grandson was diagnosed with cancer and began chemo treatments at Minneapolis Childrens. My grandson was very close with his grandmother whose love and support helped him in his day to day battle. His grandmother passed away recently from her own battle with another disease. In my wife’s memory I would like to make this donation to your organization so that someone like my grandson and their family might benefit from your generosity as my grandson and his did. Thanks to Blair’s Tree of Hope and what you do and keep up the good work. Sincerely a grateful grandfather.
7th Annual Kickball Tournament 9-27-2014
It is time to get your teams together for our annual Kickball Tournament.
This year we have 3 divisions:
Co-Ed Competitive Division, entire team must be 16+ for teams who wish to have a competitive game (equal number of woman and men on each team) double elimination
Co-Ed Non-Competitive Division, for teams looking to play a friendly and fun game, entire team must be 16+ (equal number of woman and men on each team) 2 game guarantee
Family Division, for teams looking to play games for fun, teams will be made up of players of all ages, 2 game guarantee
The day starts out with a balloon release where we honor and remember those that have gone through or going through a journey.
Raffle will be held again and tickets will be on sale in the next two weeks.
Bone Marrow Drive will be held from 9am to 12:00 noon.

Thank you to Storage Mart, 11001 Excelsior Blvd, Hopkins, MN (952)935-2194 ext 2 for sponsoring our storage unit. Without having this storage unit to keep our donations, products and many other items that help us to achieve our goals and mission we would not be as organized as we are. With the weekly hospitals visits, vendor fairs, family visits and much more volunteers and board members can access the unit on their time schedule. We have had our unit with Storage Mart for 5 years and they recently started a program to help non-profits. We are thankful to Storage Mart and highly recommend them to any of you that are in need of a storage unit.

BTOH Running for Hope – 5k Walk/Run
Looking for a fun family event come on out to Bunker Hills park, 550 bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304 on Sunday June 29, 2014. Run/Walk 5k – Age 12 & Up Cost $30 per person. Run/Walk 5k – Group registration – Age Group/Open $150 per group. Run/Walk 5K – Child under age 12 (children in strollers are free) $15.
Please join us for the 2014 5k Run/Walk event to benefit Blair’s Tree of Hope (read about the charity at www.blairstreeofhope.org)! Come run or walk on June 29th, 2014, at the beautiful Bunker Hills Regional Park in Andover, MN!
This 5k run/walk event is a USATF-certified course that loops through the rolling trails throughout the park. Snacks and beverages will be available pre- and post- race (cash donation appreciated; all proceeds go to Blair’s Tree of Hope). All participants will receive a race T-shirt, Bib number, and goodie bag with coupons and freebies!
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day with activities for all ages! All proceeds go to benefit the families of terminally ill children and to fulfill the mission of Blair’s Tree of HOPE: Helping Other People Everyday!!
NOTE: Bunker Hills is a Regional park with a $5.00 park admission per vehicle. There is also parking available outside the park where you may walk or bike into the park.
