Looking for a way to help out but are not able to make a monetary donation come join us at our quarterly sewing event held at our Sponsor facility the Four Seasons Quilts, 9708 63rd Avenue North, Maple Grove, MN – owner Joann. Thank you so much for the use of your facility we are able to bring together 12-15 people to design, cut, sew, iron some of the most beautiful pillowcases and chemo bags. Time is 12:00 (noon) to 5p.m. We have people come who love to iron but don’t sew, we have those those love to sew but don’t like to iron, others have the eye to put patterns together. We meet new people every quarter and are able to share our goals and mission with them. Great fellowship event.
St.MinneSomePlace in Paradise
Blair’s Tree of Hope was nominated by Kalbi Grogan who is a member of the St.MinneSomePlace in Paradise non-profit to come and present who we are at a meeting. At this meeting we had to share with them who we are and what we do along with 4 other non-profits. Blair’s Tree of Hope was selected as one of the 2 charities that St.MinnesSomePlace will donate funds to this fiscal year. Thank you to Kalbi and the board members for selecting Blair’s Tree of Hope Non-Profit – yo u are helping us to Help Other People Everyday. HOPE
Heartfelt Thank You
It is so heartwarming to receive the Thank you’s notes from the families that we help and we do read and share each one at the board meetings. We received a heartfelt thank you in the mail today from a grandparent of a child going through a journey and felt we should share with you.
“Hello – Last year Labor day my grandson was diagnosed with cancer and began chemo treatments at Minneapolis Childrens. My grandson was very close with his grandmother whose love and support helped him in his day to day battle. His grandmother passed away recently from her own battle with another disease. In my wife’s memory I would like to make this donation to your organization so that someone like my grandson and their family might benefit from your generosity as my grandson and his did. Thanks to Blair’s Tree of Hope and what you do and keep up the good work. Sincerely a grateful grandfather.
